STOPSLIP

Anti Slip. Quarry, glazed, ceramic, or porcelain tiled floors. Stop Slip is an acid based product that combines a traction treatment capability with surfactants and cleaning agents. The cleaning agents break down grease and oils that are found deep in the floor which cause the floor to be slippery. The traction treatment increases the amount of friction generated by contact with the floor to a level where it ceases to be slippery. Apply undiluted to the floor leave between 20 and 40 minutes (dependant on the type of tile) then rinse off and allow to dry. The chemical is unclassified and needs no special equipment or training, making the whole job simple, quick and efficient.
The floor may have slightly less of a shine after. It may also dry to a haze which will disapear after a while.
The reason these types of floor can loose thier slip resistance is because when it is new it has grooves on the surface when viewed under a microscope. With heavy wear these groves wear way.
